Please
allow me to tell you a little more about myself, and why I became a Chiropractor!
In 1984, while a student
at Middle Tennessee State University, I started getting painful migraine
headaches after a sports related injury. In my case, it came on suddenly;
the pain in my head was so intense that I couldn't read, study, or even
see at times. I was afraid that I'd have to quite school and that I'd
lose my job if it continued.
After considering
spending a lifetime on mind-numbing pain medication (that was the only
option, according to my doctor) I decided against it. A friend of mine
convinced me to give chiropractic care a try. The Chiropractor did an
exam, took some x-rays, and then "adjusted" my spine. The adjustment
didn't hurt; it actually felt good! I got relief and the migraines were
gone after a short time. It worked so well, the relief so pronounced,
that I decided to become a Chiropractor myself!
Its strange how life is, because
now people come to see me with their headache problems. They also come to
me with their migraines, chronic pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, arm pain,
hand pain, whiplash from car accidents, backaches, numbness in their limbs
athletic injuries, just to name a few.
